Your first appointment

During the first appointment you will get acquainted and discuss the treatment methods we use for targeted treatments. The oral examination then takes place. Based on the oral examination, we will discuss the treatment plan with you. The scope of the first conversation includes:

  • Creating a patient card
  • Registering the status of the teeth by indicating in the patient chart where teeth and molars are missing and where fillings, crown and bridge work and implants and dental conditions such as tooth decay are located (status praesens)
  • Taking and discussing a health questionnaire (medical history)
  • Discussing the follow-up process, what needs to be done to achieve the care goal, such as the need for further additional research
  • Determining and discussing the goals of care and
  • If the screening shows that no deepened pockets are present during the intake, dental cleaning can be performed immediately. If the oral examination shows that there are deepened pockets, periodontal disease/gum disease, or extensive treatments are required, we will discuss this with you in detail and follow-up appointments can be made

Required documents for your first visit

  • A valid ID
  • If necessary, your health insurance card
  • If necessary, a referral card from your dentist and
  • The completed health questionnaire that you received from us and, if necessary, a medication list
